Today
in class we finished the notes from Thursday. We also had a discussion in which
Mr. Shick just instigated the entire thing by not stating his opinion and just
finding flaws in the thing the person said and turning that into a question.
This is also what Socrates did to young workers just outside of the agora. This
eventually led to the scientific method which is as follows problem, hypothesis,
experiment, observe, results. It can be different from person to person though.
Socrates also was a stonemason, wrestler, and warrior when he was younger. He fought
heroically in war. Around this time the democracy in Grease formed allowing males
who were born in Athens vote on things. but it was very different then we do it
every single person voting one at a time would stand at a podium and give their
stance on the matter and why they thought that way to try to persuade others
into voting with them.
