Today in class we Learned about Julius Cesar
and the people that helped him rise to power. Julius Cesar’s first big
accomplishment was conquering Gaul when he returned he intended to parade his
me through Rome when the government told him he had to leave some of his troops
behind he took them all anyway and paraded them through Rome. Soon he was
elected Consul and in a time of panic he was appointed Dictator for Six months
and in that time, he was Dictator appointed himself Dictator for life. This
made the Aristocrats mad and they eventually called him to the Senate hall and stabbed
him 23 times and everyone involved in the plan covered their hands in his blood
so one person could not be blamed for the murder and soon after Octavius Cesar
was appointed Emperor ending the republic.
